CSI Fundamental Formats Workshop

About this Event

The Fundamental Formats Workshop will impart a broad understanding of the construction project delivery process and promote knowledge and skills that can be immediately applied in project management, construction document development, specification writing, and construction contract administration and is a great way to increase your confidence, enhance your competency, and hone your communication abilities. This workshop will assist candidates in preparing for CSI’s Construction Documents Technology (CDT) certification exam based on a review of CSI's Project Delivery Practice Guide (PDPG), 2nd Edition, the AIA A201 General Conditions of the Contract for Construction, and the EJCDC C-700 Standard General Conditions of the Construction Contract. The PDPG provides a conceptual understanding of the entire construction process and CSI-recommended standard practices, including project procedures, team member roles, and construction document relationships and formats. While this course can help those interested in sitting for the CDT exam, taking the exam and earning the CDT certification is not required.
