Program Title: Air Barriers for Exterior Walls
Program Objectives: This course presents air / moisture barriers: air barriers, components, air leakage, causes of air leakage and the affect it has on energy consumption and conservation are discussed. Differentiation between fluid applied air/ moisture barriers and vapor barriers are presented. How air barriers relate to the building codes as well as the advantages of fluid applied air/ moisture barriers over sheet type barriers are also covered.
